Changing a User Name or Password


Is it possible to change a provider's login information - like the username and/or password - after the provider's full profile has been created?


Changing a provider's login information is easily done in OSCAR's Administration:

  1. from OSCAR's main menu, click Administration
  2. select User Management
  3. select Search/Edit/Delete Security Records
  4. next to "Search Criteria", select the "User Name" radio button
  5. type a known user name into the search field and then click Search -or- click Search with an empty search field to see all results
  6. click on the desired user name under the User Name column from the results
  7. change the User Name and/or Password
  8. click Update Record
  9. test by logging in with the new settings.
