Batch Change the Most Responsbile Provider (MRP) in Patient Files

QUESTION:

How to change the the Most Responsible Provider (MRP) in a large number of patient files.

ANSWER:

1. Go to: Administration / Data Management / Update Patient Provider
2. In the Most Responsible Provider (MRP) box
      a.) Select the provider to be "replaced"
      b.) Select the provider to be replaced
      c.) Select a letter range of the patients last names that will be       replaced with a new provider. ie: A to Z for all
3. Click Update

BE PATIENT and wait - the process can take up to 5 minutes depending on the number of files being changed. A confirmation with the number of files changed will appear at the top of the page when finished.
