Cannot View Waitlist in OSCAR

PROBLEM:

I have trouble pulling up my wait lists which was an issue with the “old OSCAR” as well which I figured would resolve itself with the upgrades. It didn’t work after the upgrade.

The other staff can seem to access my Waiting Lists just fine.

There are some patients when I try to go through their master chart to
check their position on the wait list it appears to me they have not
been listed but others can see and confirm.

I also notice that when I try to check or wait list patients in the
“Demographics” tab that no wait lists drop down for me to put them
onto (same patient)

SOLUTION:

The Waiting List features are not visible because you may not be assigned to the default provider group. To change your default group:

1.) from OSCAR's main menu, click Preferences

2.) Next to the Group No. field, click on View/Edit Groups

3.) Change the Group No field to the Group No next to your name.

4.) about half way down the page, click Update.

5.) log out of OSCAR, and then log back in.

6.) you should now be able to access all the Waiting List features.
