How to Write a Prescription, Sign the Prescription, and Efax the Prescription

Confirm with the patient, that the Selected Pharmacy is correct. (This information is required When efaxing a prescription.) 

Search for the name of the medication, using the Drug Name search box. 

Select the required medication from the pop-up list. 

Provide the prescription Instructions, the Qty/Mitte, Repeats, and Long Term Information. 

Select the Save and Print Button. 

The Prescription will now be visible. 

If you wish to add additional notes to the Prescription, this can be done in the Additional Notes to Add to Rx box provided 

Sign the prescription using the Signature box provided 

Select the Save button under your signature 

The Prescription will now be visible with the Additional Notes and your Signature. The patient’s preferred pharmacy will also be visible on the prescription. 

To Fax the prescription, select either Fax or Fax & Add to encounter note. 

To Print the prescription, select either Print, or Print and Add to encounter note
