How to add a diagnostic code to a patient's Disease Registry.

How do I add a diagnostic code to a patient's Disease Registry?

Answer;

Follow these steps when adding to the patient's Disease Registry;

1) Open the patient's echart and select the Disease Registry
2) In the blank area below the Coding System, type the name of the disease you wish to add.  (For example, Chronic pain)
3) Select Code Search
4) Select the little box in front of the code you wish to add and select the Confirm button
5) The code should now be in the area where you typed in the search words.
6) Select Add

The disease diagnostic code has successfully been added to this patient's Disease Registry.
